Problem of Sacrament with especial regard to Eucharist and Matrimony

This thesis Problem of Sacrament with especial regard to Eucharist and Matrimony deals with issues of the Sacrament, a relation of a visible and invisible level in the Sacrament, a role of a symbol and a comparison of a conception of the Sacrament in the orthodox, reformed and catholic churches from the religionistic point of view. Further, this thesis deals with two selected sacraments: the Eucharist which is the Sacrament in all the churches, and the Matrimony which most of the churches do not recognize as the Sacrament. In the issue of the Eucharist, there has been solved a progress of its understanding and a comparison of a conception in particular churches. In the issue of the Matrimony, there have been presented options why it is possible or not to recognize it as the Sacrament, then a comparison of a conception of the selected churches, an issue of a confesionally mixed marriages and an issue of divorces.
Seventh-day Adventist Church as a religious phenomena

The aim of this thesis is to approximate and specify currently very fast growing eschatological Christian movement Seventh-day Adventist Church. First, the history of this religious community is outlined, both at the place of origin, i.e. in the USA, and in the territory of our state, where it is currently one of the most active churches in mission and preaching. Partial attention is then paid to the central circumstances and key figures behind the founding of this community - especially the Baptist preacher William Miller, who gave the initial impetus to the founding of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, or the personality of Ellen White, who was known for her extraordinary visionary abilities. The central part of the work is the characterization and definition of the basic features of Seventh-Day Adventism - namely, the basic dogmas and beliefs, in comparison with the most widespread Christian denominations (particularly the Roman Catholic and Orthodox churches). In this sense, they are taken into account, comparatively against Adventism, especially the dogmatics of the first ecumenical councils. The Principles of the Interfaith Dialog in Standpoint of Husite Theology

This thesis focuses on the concept of interreligious dialogue from the perspective of Husite theology, maps the contemporary texts of the theologians of the Czechoslovak Church on the topic of non- Christian religions and the practical involvement of this church and its theological faculty in dialogical structures. Represents associations and movements engaged in interreligious dialogue in the Czech Republic. The probe into the theory and practice of interreligious dialogue worldwide and the review of authors dealing with, captures the expert reflection of the subject. The reflection of Husite theology emphasizes the key non-substantial concept of human personality and Christian dogma for the interreligious dialogue. The results of this reflection are formulated in five principles that may help overcome the contradiction between indifferent religious pluralism and apriori claim to the truth by revealing the existential nature of interreligious dialogue as opposed to substantive dogmatics, giving an occasion for discussion of the elementary nature of religion.
Religious dimension in the culture of the Czech schools

The thesis deals with the religious dimension of life at Czech secularized school. In its theoretical part, using the theoretical sources, it tries to give some information about different conceptions of religion, about the psychology and sociology´s point of view, about the personality of the teacher and school culture as well and shortly about the development of our school system in the history of the Czech Republic. In its practical part it tries to answer the question about the existence of the religious dimension of life at particular Czech school with the research and its analysis.

Visual Culture and Religion

(in English): This thesis wants to introduce the visual culture as an interesting method for religious studies to research religious aspects of images, their relation to the society and the ways of using them. The text summarizes previous discussion about visual culture and the relation between visual culture and art history. It also briefly introduces the relation between art and religion and describes the relation between art history and religious images. Then it presents chosen topics from visual culture, which are interesting for religious studies, in particular the theory of the gaze, importance of the context of images and the ways in which images can invoke a spontaneous response in the viewer.

Religious studies at selected grammar schools- abstract Lucie Schneiderová 2013 Abstract: This bachelor thesis Religious studies at selected grammar schools analyzes Framework education programme for secondary general education (grammar school) in relation to religious studies. Thesis analyse school education programmes: Gymnázium Nymburk, Gymnázium Na Pražačce and Arcibiskupské gymnázium in relation to issues relating to religious studies. The practical part, carried out using a questionnaire survey focuses on students opinions on religion education and its benefits. Benefits from studying religion can be expressed in the way how students understand subject matter, attitude towards new religious movements and concept of evil.
